Year 1 of the Darian DeVries era in Bloomington ended in disappointment, as the Hoosiers missed the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season and for the eighth time in the last 10 years.
DeVries and his staff now have a lot of work to do in re-vamping Indiana's roster for next season, as Indiana's graduating class accounted for nearly 78% of the minutes played and 84.1% of the scoring from this past season.

Help is on the way in the form of a trio of top-80 players in Indiana's 2026 recruiting class. However, DeVries figures to be extremely busy in the transfer portal as he constructs his roster for next season.
The portal is set to open on Tuesday, April 7 and remain open until Tuesday, April 21. Players can announce their intent to enter the portal at any time, and many players across the country have already done just that. Once they are officially in the portal, players can commit to a new team at any time. There is no official deadline to commit to a new team, although players must generally be enrolled at their new school early enough to participate in summer workouts and/or fall practices.Â
Indiana basketball fans will be monitoring the portal closely. As the portal action continues to unfold, we will keep you updated with all the latest moves surrounding the Hoosiers. See below for the latest IU portal developments for both incoming and outgoing players.
