Along with a graduating class of six players from last year's team, a total of six players decided to test the transfer portal waters this offseason. Among them was freshman center Andrej Acimovic, who came to Bloomington from the U19 ABA League, which is the top league in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia region.
New look Hoosiers: Predicting Indiana’s starting 5 after Darian DeVries' portal moves
After averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in his final season overseas, Acimovic came to Indiana with plenty of potential. However, he did not appear in any game action this past season, and has now found a new college basketball home.
Former Hoosier Andrej Acimovic commits to Missouri State via transfer portal
According to his agent Veskovic Miljan, Acimovic has committed to Missouri State via the transfer portal. He is set to join a Bears program entering its third season under head coach Cuonzo Martin. Martin improved MSU's record from 9-23 in his first season to 16-18 this past season.

Missouri State is set to enter its second season as a member of Conference-USA after leaving the Missouri Valley Conference. MSU went 2-18 in league play during its final season in the MVC and posted a C-USA record of 8-12 this past season.
All former Hoosiers have now found new college basketball homes
With Acimovic's commitment, all six former Hoosiers who entered the transfer portal have found new college basketball homes.
Previously, Jason Drake committed to Temple, Jasai Miles committed to Loyola Marymount, Josh Harris committed to Florida Atlantic, Aleksa Ristic committed to Belmont, and Nick Dorn committed to Miami (FL).
Tayton Conerway is technically still in the portal, as he is searching for another season of eligibility from the NCAA.
Darian DeVries has just one returning player from last year's team, which comes in the form of rising sophomore forward Trent Sisley. Indiana's incoming recruiting class features three players, while DeVries has added six transfers so far this offseason. Those moves have Indiana basketball fans fired up for a much better campaign in 2026-27.
