The college basketball transfer portal has been open for nearly a week, and Darian DeVries and the Indiana Hoosiers have plenty of moves to make. Indiana's roster is gutted from last season, as freshman Trent Sisley is the only official returner at this time.

Indiana hosted four portal targets in Bloomington over the weekend, and the program has just received its first portal commitment of the offseason. It comes in the form of Georgia Tech shooting guard Jaeden Mustaf, who announced his commitment to the Hoosiers on Monday afternoon.

"ALL IN," Mustaf posted to social media announcing his portal decision.

Indiana lands Georgia Tech SG Jaeden Mustaf in transfer portal

Mustaf is ranked as the No. 90 overall player and the No. 14 shooting guard in the portal by 247Sports. He originally hails from Bowie, MD, and was once a recruiting target for Mike Woodson coming out of Overtime Elite in Atlanta. Mustaf spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career in Atlanta with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and has now made Bloomington his new home.

Mustaf owns a solid 6'6" 210-pound frame, and rebounds well for a shooting guard. This past season, he averaged 4.3 rebounds per game and 1.1 offensive rebounds per game for Georgia Tech. He can also draw fouls at an impressive clip and be an effective scorer.

On the scoring front, Mustaf averaged 10.4 points per game while shooting 49.3% from the floor. He also chipped in 2.4 assists per game. He doesn't shoot a ton of three-pointers (1.9 per game this past season), but he can help spread the floor and keep opposing defenses honest as he shot 38.9% from beyond the arc this past season.

In total, Mustaf appeared in 55 games with 33 starts over his two seasons with the Yellow Jackets. He comes to Indiana with two years of eligibility remaining.

Mustaf figures to be one of many portal additions coming to Indiana this week. Be sure to follow along all the latest developments with our 2026 Indiana Basketball Transfer Portal Tracker.
