Former Indiana Hoosier forward Race Thompson has agreed to join Legia Warsaw in Poland next season.
The 26-year-old Thompson spent last season in the NBA G-League with the Memphis Hustle.
Legia Warsaw, which is a member of the Polish Basketball League, announced in a press releaseMonday it signed Thompson to its roster for the 2025-26 season. The PBL is the top division of Polish basketball.

The Indiana Hoosiers alumni team "Assembly Ball" in the TBT league also recently added Thompson to the 2025 roster this off-season.
Race Thompson spent this past season playing for the Memphis Hustle, where he averaged 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.8 minutes per game over a 28 game span.
The Minnesota native shot 39.6 percent from the field, 27.8 percent from 3-point range and 77.8 percent at the free throw line.
The 6-foot-7 forward also played Venados de Mezatlan of the Mexican CIBACOPA League. He played 15 games in the Mexican League last season, averaging 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 21.9 minutes per game.
Over six seasons at Indiana, Thompson averaged 7.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, one assist, .9 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. He shot 51.1 percent from the floor and 64.6 percent from the free throw line. Thompson was also named Honorable mention All-Big Ten and a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree, during his time in Bloomington.
In his final two seasons at Indiana, Thompson helped lead the Hoosiers to back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances.
