Despite neither of them having played a single game for the Indiana Hoosiers, the QB/WR duo of Josh Hoover and Nick Marsh continues to receive plenty of hype.
On Wednesday, On3's J.D PicKell released his list of the Top-10 QB/WR duos in the country entering the 2026 season. With zero career games together, the combination of Hoover and Marsh comes in at No. 7 on the list.

It's a fair rankings, as Hoover and Marsh both have plenty of experience and ability to shine in the same offense. Hoover has 36 career games and 31 starts under his belt. He racked up 9,629 yards and 79 total touchdowns at TCU, giving him the most production of any returning college QB in the country.
Indiana fans just got a new reason to worry about Texas' push for 5-star Monshun Sales
Marsh shined in a poor passing attack at Michigan State, as he led the Spartans in catches (59), receiving yards (662), and receiving touchdowns (6) last season. He possesses an elite ability to rack up yards after the catch, and with Omar Cooper Jr. and Elijah Sarratt off to the NFL, Marsh figures to take on a leading role in Indiana's WR room.
If they weren't both entering their first seasons in Bloomington, perhaps they would have been higher up on the list. With that in mind, PicKell's rankings don't tell the full story for the Hoosier passing attack.
Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh can be the best WR 1-2 punch in the country
It's interesting to see that PicKell put Marsh on the list instead of Charlie Becker. Marsh has an extremely high ceiling, but as previously mentioned, we have yet to see him operate in a Mike Shanahan-led offense. We have seen that with Becker, and the results were spectacular.
Becker didn't make his fist start of the season until Indiana's eighth game against UCLA. But after that, he quickly made a name for himself as one of the top receivers in the nation. Down the stretch, Becker totaled 27 catches for 522 yards and 3 touchdowns over Indiana's last 7 games. Most importantly, he delivered numerous clutch catches in the biggest moments of Indiana's run to a National Championship in the College Football Playoff.
Marsh and Becker have complementary skill sets, which gives them the potential to be the nation's top WR 1-2 punch this season. Becker excels at coming down with one-on-one catches and back shoulder throws. Conversely, Marsh thrives at racking up the yards after the catch. Per ESPN Research, Marsh forced 36 missed tackles on receptions last season, which was second in the country trailing only Miami's Malachi Toney 39.
Earlier this offseason, Becker and Marsh were ranked as the No. 4 and No. 5 receivers in the country by ESPN. Indiana was the only team to have two players featured in the Top-5, and one of only two teams to have multiple players listed in the Top-10.
Seeing Becker and Marsh operate in the same offense gives Hoosier football fans plenty to be excited about, and both are capable of putting up monster numbers.
