It's been a busy week for the Indiana football program. Last Thursday, the Hoosiers officially began their quest for another national title with the start of spring practice. IU's pro day then took place on April 1, and all throughout the week several high-profile recruits have made visits to Bloomington.
Among the recruits visiting Indiana this week is 5-star WR Monshun Sales. Heralded as the No. 1 WR in the 2027 recruiting class and playing just up the road at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Sales is a top priority for Curt Cignetti and his staff.
Sales visited Bloomington on Thursday, which marks his second visit to Indiana in 2026. He is also slated for an official visit later this spring on April 24. Thursday's visit seems to have gone well, as Sales took to social media afterward to express his appreciation and love for the Hoosiers.

As Sales continues to go through his decision-making process, one Indiana commit is helping to recruit Sales through social media.
Indiana commit Kasmir Hicks turns to social media to recruit 5-star WR Monshun Sales
Following Sales' visit, 2026 commit Kasmir Hicks chimed in on social media in an effort to further recruit Sales to Bloomington.

Hicks also hails from Indianapolis, as he plays for Decatur Central High School. He is rated as a 4-star prospect and ranked as the No. 3 player in Indiana and the No. 40 cornerback in the country for the 2026 recruiting class. He is IU's 3rd-highest ranked prospect in the 2026 class.
Indiana star keeps the hits coming with brutal new jab at Kalen DeBoer and Alabama
Despite a seemingly positive visit and a social media recruiting effort from Hicks, Indiana appears to be playing catchup in Sales' recruitment. The Hoosiers are firmly in the race, but in December, Rivals' Steve Wiltfong and Greg Smith logged expert predictions for the Alabama Crimson Tide to win Sales' recruiting sweepstakes.
Hopefully, Cignetti and company are able to use their home field advantage in order to land Sales. Regardless, Cignetti's elite success has Indiana well-positioned to land its best recruiting class in program history in 2027. The 2026 class is ranked No. 20 in the country.
