Former Indiana Hoosier Henna Sandvik transfers to Wyoming Women's Basketball

Sandvik will have one year of eligibility remaining at Wyoming

Former Indiana Guard Henna Sandvik who played for Indiana for three seasons is heading west to Wyoming in her final season.

The incoming senior guard confirmed the transfer on her instagram and the Wyoming women’s basketball program announced Sandvik’s transfer on their social media feed.

Sandvik first entered the portal on March 27th that news coming from Talia Goodman of On3 Sports.

The 6-0 foot senior guard averaged 1.7 points per game in 2024-25 this past season and for her career in three seasons with Indiana she only averaged 1.1 points in her career, appearing in 75 total games. She saw the most time her last season in Bloomington, playing an average of 9.9 minutes per game across 29 games.

The Helsinki, Finland native had her best game of her career on Dec, 15th of 2024 against Bellarmine, scoring a career-high 13 points, six rebounds and two assists.

The Wyoming Cowgirls were 22-12 in 2025 and finished second in the Mountain West Conference.

Teri Moren and the Indiana Hoosiers women's basketball team has already lost five women to new teams ahead of Sandvik. Lexus Bargesser (Colorado State), Julianna LaMendola (Grand Canyon), Yarden Garzon (Maryland), Sharnecce Currie-Jelks (Murray State) and Lilly Meister (Kansas) all previously announced their future schools.

Indiana has added Alabama sophomore guard Chloe Spreen, sophomore guard Phoenix Stojin and sophomore forward Zania Socka-Nguemen, former Virginia junior guard Edessa Noyan and most recently former Duquesne guard Jerni Kiaku.
