Former Duquesne guard Jerni Kiaku has committed to head coach Teri Moren and the Indiana women’s basketball program according to her Instagram post.
Kiaku has one year of eligibility remaining after spending two seasons with Duquesne and one at North Carolina Central.

Jerni Kiaku averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 47.1 percent from the field last season in 33 total starts (2024-25).
In her previous season (2023-24), Kiaku took a step back in production averaging 6.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 30 total games.
The 5-7 speedy guard was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and All-Conference honoree in 2022-23, at North Carolina Central. She averaged 10.7 points, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game in her freshman season at NCC.
The Garner, North Carolina native is the fifth player in the transfer portal that Indiana women's basketball has landed this off-season. That list includes Alabama sophomore guard Chloe Spreen, sophomore guard Phoenix Stojin and sophomore forward Zania Socka-Nguemen and former Virginia junior guard Edessa Noyan.
