Indiana secures commitment from 4-star QB Lukas Prock
One of the biggest names in the 2028 recruiting class is 4-star QB Lukas Prock. Hailing from Princeton, NJ, Prock is ranked as the No. 7 quarterback and No. 68 overall prospect in the 2028 recruiting cycle according to Rivals. He is also regarded as the No. 3 overall player in the state of New Jersey. Now, he is officially Bloomington bound.

On Thursday afternoon, Prock committed to play for Cignetti and the Hoosiers. His decision comes less than two weeks after announcing Indiana among his list of final contenders. The 6'2" 190-pound gunslinger chose Indiana over other finalists Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Florida.

Playing for Hun High School in New Jersey, Prock threw for 4,330 yards and 41 touchdowns with just 7 interceptions as a sophomore. He also added 11 rushes for 154 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He is the first commit for Indiana's 2028 recruiting class.
It's interesting that Prock decided to commit prior to his junior season starting up. Instead of waiting to take a handful of Official Visits this fall, Prock deciding to make things official with the Hoosiers. That shows just how attractive the IU football program is to blue chip prospects across the country with Cignetti at the helm.
There's no denying that Prock's July commitment to Indiana is a major win for Cignetti and company, as it continues to build Indiana's eye-popping recruiting momentum.
