The atmosphere in Bloomington is already rocking, and Memorial Stadium is sure to be packed to the gills and create a raucous environment. It's the first time that Indiana hosts Ohio State in the Curt Cignetti era, and will be the first Top-5 matchup in the history of Memorial Stadium.

Plenty of streaks are on the line for the Hoosiers. After going 16-0 last season and starting this season 6-0, Indiana brings a 22-game winning streak into this pivotal Big Ten clash. Indiana is also putting an impressive home winning streak on the line in Week 7. The Hoosiers haven’t lost at Memorial Stadium since November of 2023, and is currently riding a 19-game home winning streak, which is the longest active streak in the FBS. Furthermore, Indiana has never lost at home under Cignetti.

Ohio State is still the only team to defeat Cignetti in Big Ten play during his tenure at Indiana. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes beat Cignetti and the Hoosiers 38-15 in Columbus back on November 23, 2024. However, Indiana got revenge in last year's Big Ten Championship Game, winning 13-10 in Indianapolis. Cignetti is a remarkable 33-2 overall and 20-1 in Big Ten play in Bloomington. With one more victory, he will pass Tom Allen for total wins as Indiana's head coach.

Oddsmakers are expecting a close game, but are giving a slight edge to the Buckeyes. Via DraftKings Sportsbook, Ohio State is favored by three points over the Hoosiers. The total, or over/under, is listed at 50.5.
