Move over Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James and Magic Johnson there is a new G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) in town and his name is Wardell Stephen Curry.

Former Indiana Hoosier basketball legend Victor Oladipo recently called Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry the greatest NBA player of all time, citing his game-changing impact on basketball in his recent Inner Court podcast.

On their latest episode of the show Oladipo explained his reasoning, highlighting Curry’s impact on the game.

"What's funny for me is, I know what you're about to say, too. I would consider him the best ever," Oladipo said.

"He's doing his thing. He's changed the game completely, bro. I saw him, I had to guard him, it's really different," he added.

"“I consider Steph the greatest of all time. And the reason behind that is that he was supposed to be playing golf. You look at him, and he was supposed to be playing golf, and now he’s out there hitting shots like that,“"

Oladipo, who was once considered one of the NBA’s most promising stars, could be considered one of the league’s biggest “what if” stories. Selected as the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Indiana by the Orlando Magic, Oladipo’s career started off great. Oladipo was a two-time NBA All-Star, Third-Team All-NBA player, All-Defensive First-Team player, and the NBA's Most Improved player in 2018.

Unfortunately, injuries derailed his career, shortening his games played in the NBA and his overall career.

Oladipo averaged 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.2 steals at Indiana playing three seasons there from 2011-2013. After an outstanding junior season in 2012–13, Oladipo won the Sporting News National Player of the Year award.

Former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo was revealed as the newest addition to ESPN's NBA analyst team earlier this year at the start of the season but is looking to make a comeback to the NBA.

Oladipo (via his YouTube Channel): "I'm not retiring. It's just not what I'm doing right now... I got a ton left in the tank... I'm training, rehabbing, every day."

Victor Oladipo most recently played for the Miami Heat in the 2022-23 season. That year, he averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 39.7% from the field and 33.0% from the three-point range in 42 games (two starts).
