For the second consecutive week, the Indiana Hoosiers are on the road. After taking down Rutgers 47-15 last week in Piscataway, the Hoosiers now head east to battle the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 6. It's a battle of undefeated teams, as both Indiana and Nebraska hold strong 5-0 records to start the season.

Indiana enters this contest ranked as the No. 7 team in the country via the AP Top-25 Poll. Nebraska is unranked. Kick-off between the Hoosiers and Huskers is set for Noon ET. Here is a look at the latest Indiana vs Nebraska betting odds, as well as a score prediction.

Final Indiana vs Nebraska betting odds in Week 6

Nebraska has started the season with wins over Ohio, Bowling Green, North Dakota, Michigan State, and Marlyand. The Huskers are scoring 43.6 points per game and allowing just 14.2. Now welcoming the defending National Champions to town, Matt Rhule and company are looking to pull off a huge upset.

The spread in this game is the smallest of any Hoosier game so far this season. The Cream and Crimson are favored by 7.5 points via DraftKings Sportsbook, while the total, or over/under, is listed at 47.5. Here is a look at the full betting odds for Indiana at Nebraska:

Moneyline
Indiana (-305)
Nebraska (+245)

Spread
Indiana -7.5 (-110)
Nebraska +7.5 (-110)

Indiana is 5-0 on the season, but just 1-4 when it comes to covering the spread. IU's lone cover of the season came last week in a 32-point win over Rutgers as a 24-point favorite. Score prediction for Indiana vs Nebraska

These are the types of games in which Nebraska has fallen flat over the last decade. The cornhuskers' most recent win over a Top-25 opponent came all the way back on Sept. 17, 2016 over No. 22 Oregon. Since then, Nebraska has lost 31 straight games to ranked opponents. Matt Rhule is 0-9 against ranked teams during his tenure at Nebraska, meaning that the Huskers are more desperate than ever for a signature win.

Memorial Stadium in Lincoln will undoubtedly feature a raucous environment, but the Hoosiers have what it takes to spoil the party. Indiana's running game is extremely effective, and Josh Hoover has shown elite chemistry on deep throws with Charlie Becker. Nick Marsh has also proven to be a reliable target, and Hoover has done a great job of protecting the ball.

The Indiana defense is allowing just 10.8 points per game, and are now at full strength with CB AJ Harris back in the mix. Indiana won 56-7 the last time these teams met back in 2024. This game will be a closer fight, and I expect it to be low-scoring. Nebraska hangs around, but Indiana pulls away late. Hoosiers win 27-17.
