Along with seniors Jerni Kiaku and Shay Ciezki now out of eligibility, head coach Teri Moren figures to dip into the transfer portal as she and her staff construct Indiana's roster for next season. One player to keep an eye on comes from another Division I school in the Hoosier state.
Evansville's Camryn Runner should be a portal priority for Indiana
Evansville guard Camryn Runner could be an ideal portal target for Moren and the Hoosiers. Runner possess a well-rounded skill set that could make for a great addition to IU's back court in 2026-27.
Hailing from Cicero, IN, Runner has started all 67 games for Evansville over the last two seasons. She is coming off a sophomore campaign in which she led the Purple Aces in points (18.2), rebounds (5.6), assists (5.3), steals (1.6) and minutes played (36.0) per game this past season.

Runner wasted no time making an immediate impact for the Purple Aces in her collegiate career. The 5'8" guard averaged 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game during her freshman season en route to being named the Missouri Valley Freshman of the Year in 2024-25.
She was even better in 2025-26, breaking Evansville's all-time single-season assists record and earning All-MVC Second Team honors.
Runner also led the Purple Aces to the MVC Tournament title game for just the third time in program history and the first time since 2009. She was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team after averaging 19 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in the tournament. Furthermore, her 76 total points in the conference tournament ranks 7th in MVC Tournament history.
In her two years at Evansville, Runner became the fastest player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark. Her highest-scoring performance of the season came on February 26 when she scored 36 points against Drake. She also recorded a triple-double on January 29 vs Belmont with a 19-point, 10-rebound, and 10-assist effort.
Now testing the portal waters, Runner could make for a great fit in Bloomington.
