It has not been said enough times that Indiana was snubbed from making the NCAA Tournament, especially with some of the teams that made it in over the Hoosiers. While Indiana did not have a perfect season, they certainly did more than some of the other bubble teams that did make it in.
The Hoosiers had four Quad 1 wins this season, which yes was less than some other teams, but they also did not lose a single game outside of Quad 1 opponents, going undefeated in Quad 2, Quad 3, and Quad 4 games.
While Indiana fans were outraged over the Hoosiers missing the tournament while other teams like UNC made it in, so did national analysts such as Jon Rothstein, who said every thought in his mind on the matter.
"If the criteria for the NCAA Tournament in terms of getting an at-large bid is to beat other NCAA Tournament teams if you are on the bubble, how in the world could North Carolina get an at-large bid over Indiana and over West Virginia," Rothstein said during the bracket reveal show.
North Carolina being in the NCAA Tournament over teams like Indiana and West Virginia is a miscarriage of justice.

Rothstein went on a solid rant talking about how UNC should not have made it into the tournament, but more importantly, they certainly should not have made it into the tournament over teams like Indiana and West Virginia. The fact that Indiana had the resume they did and when it was compared to UNC, the selection committee actually thought the Tar Heels deserved it more than the Hoosiers is absolute insanity.
"Indiana, unlike North Carolina, has no Quad 3 and 4 losses," Rothstein said. "Indiana went on the road to East Lansing and beat Michigan State who is a 2-seed and beat Purdue on its home floor who is a 4-seed in this bracket and Indiana did not get in the NCAA Tournament."
Looking at the numbers, it is truly a wonder how UNC made it in. Certainly, they pass the eye test, but looking at their resume and strength of wins and losses, which is what the NCAA Tournament says they pay the most attention to, they certainly should not have made it in. The Tar Heels went 1-12 in Quad 1 games, with their only Quad 1 win coming against UCLA, an NCAA Tournament team but not a high seed by any means.
Indiana, on the other hand, was 4-13 in Quad 1 games and was a perfect 15-0 in Quad 2, 3, and 4 games. It makes no sense how the Tar Heels got a bid and the Hoosiers did not, and Indiana fans aren't the only ones questioning it.
