Indiana Hoosier senior forward Tucker DeVries was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Monday,after his 27-point performance against Marquette on Sunday. DeVries also scored 18 points in the season-opener against Alabama A&M leading IU to a 2-0 start to the season.
Indiana men's basketball forward Tucker DeVries is arguably one of the best small forwards in the country. When Indiana landed DeVries this off-season they truly added a solid piece for the Hoosiers 2025-26 season. He also provides rebounding, defense and veteran leadership on the court which is why Indiana is off to a 2-0 start.

Ohio State senior guard Bruce Thornton was also recognized by the Big Ten as its'co-Player of the Week on Monday along with DeVries. Thornton had two fantastic games, scoring a combined 64 points, including a career-high 38 against Purdue Fort Wayne.
DeVries has averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over the two games. While also shooting (58.3 percent) from three-point range and 54.5 percent (from the field).
DeVries has had a stellar career as he was named two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year at Drake before transferring to West Virginia and then Indiana this off-season.
The Indiana Hoosiers (2-0) will be back in action tomorrow night at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 12, against Milwaukee at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Milwaukee sits at 1-1 on the season with a loss, 86-76 at Wofford on Nov. 8th, and then a victory 92-72 at home against Little Rock on Monday.
