Darian DeVries and the Indiana basketball coaching staff offered a scholarship to 2027 point guard prospect Chase Branham.

Branham reported the offer on his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts.

Branham also has scholarship offers from Austin Peay, Kansas State, Creighton, Missouri and Iowa State.

Branham is ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 62 player nationally, according to 247Sports. He plays for KC Run GMC on the Under Armour Association circuit.

He attends Logan-Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Missouri and averaged 19.2 points, 5.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds as a sophomore and shot 62 percent from the field according to the Springfield News-Leader

Branham’s trainer, Jordan Walton, praised his game in an interview with the Springfield News-Leader in late December.

“We compare him to a basketball robot or like an alien,” Walton said. “His processing speed and ability to understand things immediately… you have to explain things three-to-nine times with most kids. Chase finishes your sentences. It’s really weird. Working out with him is a different experience than any experience with anyone else.”

247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi also had high praise for the Missouri native and young guard calling him a "high-level shooter" and a bouncy floor general.

Indiana currently has no recruits signed to the 2027 class.
