One of the nations top guards who is currently in the transfer portal, is reportedly set to visit Indiana this week according to Jeff Rabjohns of 247 Sports.
That guard is senior Ryan Conwell of Xavier. Conwell is a 6-foot-4 guard and Indianapolis native who started in all 34 games, for Xavier in 2024-25.
Conwell announced on March 28 that he was entering the transfer portal for the third time in three seasons after head coach Sean Miller left Xavier to take the head coaching job at Texas.
Conwell averaged 16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33 minutes per game. He shot 45 percent from the field and shot 41.3 percent from three point range.
Conwell started his career at South Florida, and then went to Indiana State and Xavier. Conwell led the Musketeers to an NCAA tournament bid as Xavier was one of the last four in. Xavier lost to Illinois 86-73 in the first round.
He was a three-star prospect coming out of Pike H.S. Conwell was the No. 303 overall player and No. 36 combo guard in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking,
Indiana is in the mix for Conwell but the Texas Longhorns are the favorite to land Conwell with Sean Miller being thier new head coach.
