Here’s a recent scouting report on Jenkins from the OTE Elite pro day from Eric Bossi of 247Sports:
“Jenkins is already pretty ruggedly built for a junior. Checking in at 6-foot-9 and nearly 245 pounds, he’s pretty chiseled and knows how to use his strength. While he’s not necessarily the most explosive athlete in the lane, he’s got good length and is a cerebral player. Jenkins makes good reads as a passer, is crafty as a scorer, and really understands how to use his strength to his advantage.”
Jenkins told On3. “I just do everything on the court so that my team can win. I used to be a chubby kid who had skill, but now I’ve slimmed down. I’ve still got good weight, but it looks a lot different now, it looks more right,"
Jenkins has yet to announce a timeline for his commitment.
Jeremy Jenkins (2027) showcased some interesting flashes at the OTE combine. I’m buying the mix of strength, ball and movement skills on top of a very projectable frame at 6’9 and 230lbs pic.twitter.com/xdJhSa6ojh
