Indiana women's basketball continues to add to their 2026 recruiting class landing Bank Catholic (New Jersey) four-star small forward Addison Nyemchek.

Nyemechek selected Indiana over Michigan and Texas Christian University.

Nyemechek played for Philly Rise on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit and attends Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey.

Last season at Red Bank Catholic, Nyemchek averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.0 steal and 1.2 blocked shots in 24.2 minutes per game last season.

Nyemchek joins Ashlinn James and Zoe Jackson in Indiana's 2026 recruiting class.

"I narrowed it down to three amazing schools, but it really felt like home going on the visit, getting to know all the coaches, players, and community, " Nyemchek told 247Sports.

The New Jersey native also talked about the family atmosphere in Bloomington as another deciding factor.

"The big part for me on the visit was the community. I got to watch practice and get to know all the coaches, players, everyone helping out them out. I clicked with everyone and the relationship was there. Also, everyone feeds into women's basketball. The way Indiana and their community feeds into women's basketball is great and I don't think any school compares to that."

247Sports Director of Scouting Brandon Clay gave his take on what Nyemchek brings to the Hoosiers:

"Nyemchek combines length and versatility to produce on both ends of the floor. Her ability to be effective with her jumper, on the glass and on defensive switches is a separator in this class. She's played at a high level on the club circuit with Philly Rise. Nyemchek has an upside with her physical gifts that could lead to even more production at the college level. If she can shoot the 3-pointer in the high 30's, Nyemchek's value to a college program only increases as a result."

Indiana finished last season with a 20-13 record and their season ended with a loss to the University of South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 on March 23 in Columbia, South Carolina. Indiana will open its season in an exhibition against theMissouri University of Science and Technology on October. 27.
