Indiana in talks with 2024-25 Sun Belt Sixth Man and Freshman of The Year

According to CBS Sports Analyst Jon Rothstein, former James Madison guard Bryce Lindsay has been contacted by the Indiana Hoosiers and a number of other schools via his agency (GSE Worldwide)

Alongside Indiana; Miami, Florida, USC, Clemson, Villanova, and Vanderbilt round out his contenders.

This past season Lindsay averaged 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists, in 29.6 minutes per game for James Madison.

He shot 45.5 percent from the field, 40.8 percent from the three point line and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The 6’3” and 195 pound combo guard, is a native of Maryland but attended IMG Academy in his senior season.

Lindsay was named both the Sun Belt freshman and Sun Belt sixth man of the year. Lindsay led the Sun Belt Conference in three-point percentage, finishing the season with a 40.8 percent % shooting rate (87-of-213).

Lindsay will have three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting with Texas A&M his freshman season. He only played in eight games as an Aggie, he did not start a game for them and only averaged 1.8 points per game on 6.9 minutes.

So far, Indiana has three commits so far in the DeVries era, with his son Tucker DeVries being the first, then Conor Enright from DePaul, and finally Reed Bailey out of Davidson.
