According to 247Sports.com, Troy guard Tayton Conerway had a visit with Indiana men's basketball this weekend.

The Burleson, Texas native has been well traveled in his college career, playing hoops at junior colleges Grayson College and Ranger College JUCO before transferring to Troy State this past season.

At Ranger, he was the Texas Association Basketball Coaches Men’s Player of the Year in 2023 where Conerway averaged 15.7 points and 6.2 rebounds in 35 total games.

In 2023-24, he averaged 11.8 points as the sixth man for Troy.

He started in 2024-25 averaging 14.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 steals per game, shooting 47.1% percent from the field. Troy went 23-11 overall winning a Sun Belt Conference championship regular season and tournament title while advancing to their third NCAA Tournament in school history. Troy lost in the first round to Kentucky, 76-57.

The 6-foot-3 guard won Sun Belt Player of the year and was named first team All- Sun Belt and to the first team All-Sun Belt defensive team.

"Tayton is extremely deserving of this honor," head coach Scott Cross said. "He is an absolute stat sheet stuffer with points, rebounds, assists and steals, while shooting high percentages across the board. He is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses."

Conerway has one year of eligibility remaining.

Indiana has also been in heavy contact with former Idaho State guard Dylan Darling who won Big Sky Conference Player of The Year and College of Charleston transfer Ante Brzovic who was first team all-conference in the CAA.
