The Indiana Hoosiers seem to be on a hot streak of late, reaching out to potential players to come to Bloomington. Head coach Darian DeVries seems to have his phone attached to his ear as he has been searching for players to make up the rest of his squad next season.
So far, Indiana has three commits so far in the DeVrie era, with his son Tucker DeVries being the first, then Conor Enright from DePaul, and finally Reed Bailey out of Davidson. Now, with DeVries also building his staff around him, starting with former Indiana assistant Kenny Johnson, recruiting is starting to build.

Indiana has reached out to 4-star center transfer Duke Brennan from Gran Canyon
DeVries is not the only coach trying to rebuild his roster after the end of the season. Indiana has reached out to 4-star transfer Duke Brennan out of Gran Canyon, but he isn't the only one. Currently, North Carolina State and Ole Miss have also shown interest in the big man from the Group of Five schools.
Brennan helped lead his team to the NCAA Tournament for just the fourth time in program history and the third year in a row this season. The junior transfer spent one season in a power conference back in the 2022-2023 season when he started his college career out at Arizona State in the Pac-12. Brenna averaged just 2.4 points that season and 2.3 rebounds in 36 appearances. After one season with the Sun Devils, he made the move to Grand Canyon.
In his first season with the Lopes, Brennan upped his game, averaging 7.0 points per game and 6.7 rebounds. In this past season, Brennan continued to improve with 10.4 points per game and an astounding 9.2 rebounds, shooting g 64.6% from the floor.
Indiana could use a guy like Brennan, who could pair up well with Reed Bailey, a 6-foot-10 forward. Brennan, who is the same height, would be the big man for the Hoosiers, allowing Bailey more space on the court to hit the shots he likes to hit but still giving Indiana height down low.
Indiana will have to battle Ole Miss and NC State, though, for the big man. DeVries will have to work some of that recruiting magic he has shown in the past because the Hoosiers need players to start committing soon.
