Another jam-packed weekend of Indiana athletics is on deck. To get you ready for all the action, here's our latest Indiana Hoosiers news roundup.
Football in bounce-back mode at Michigan
The Hoosiers saw their 22-game winning streak come to an end last weekend against Ohio State. Indiana fell 19-15 to Ohio State, and dropped from No. 5 to No. 6 in the AP Poll. Ohio State has now handed Curt Cignetti both of his Big Ten regular season losses at Indiana. Looking to bounce back, the Hoosiers head north to Ann Arbor this weekend to take on the Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan is 4-2 and unranked, but have an elite defense and a new QB. Tommy Carr has officially been named Michigan's QB1 over Bryce Underwood, so it will be interesting to see how the IU defense handles that new challenge. The Hoosiers are currently listed as 7.5-point favorites. Kick-off is set for Noon ET on Saturday.
Khobie Martin slated to return to IU backfield
The Indiana running game has struggled mightily over the last two weeks, but help is on the way. Khobie Martin wasn't listed on the most recent Big Ten availability report for Week 8, signaling that he is primed to return to the field for the first time since suffering a broken forearm in Week 1. Martin ran for 505 yards and 6 touchdowns to go along with a team-leading 6.5 yards per carry last season as a redshirt freshman.
Men's basketball set for final exhibition game
The IU men's basketball team is set for its final exhibition game of the preseason on Sunday night against Western Kentucky. Indiana's final tune-up game before the regular season will take place at the Ford Center in Evansville. The Hoosiers have won both of their previous exhibition games, taking down Butler 96-68 and North Carolina 76-58.
