Despite falling 19-15 to No. 4 Ohio State this past weekend, the Indiana Hoosiers showed they are still a National Championship-caliber program under Curt Cignetti. The game was evenly-matched from start to finish, and a few tough breaks fell Indiana's way leading to its 22-game winning streak being snapped.

Looking ahead, Indiana's next matchup is slated for this coming Saturday against the Michigan Wolverines. It's another tough road test for the Hoosiers, who escaped with a 20-17 win over Nebraska in their most recent road game. As Indiana looks to bounce back, here's a look at all the crucial game information you need to know before Saturday.

Indiana vs Michigan betting odds

Oddsmakers are giving the edge to the Hoosiers. Via DraftKings Sportsbook, the Hoosiers are favored by a touchdown over the Wolverines. Vegas is also expecting a low-scoring contest, as the total, or over/under, sits at just 41.5. Here is a closer look at the full betting odds for this Big Ten clash:

Moneyline
Indiana (-278)
Michigan (+225)

Spread
Indiana -7 (-112)
Michigan +7 (-108)

Indiana's lone cover of the season came in Week 5 against Rutgers. Michigan hasn't been much better, as the Wolverines are just 2-4 against the spread so far this season. Both teams have seen low-scoring games more often than not so far this season, as the Under is 4-3 for Indiana and 5-1 for Michigan.

Indiana vs Michigan all-time series history

Michigan has dominated the all-time series between these Big Ten programs. In the 73 all-time meetings between these teams, Michigan owns a lopsided 62-11 edge. However, Indiana won the most recent matchup back in 2024 by a score of 20-15 in Bloomington. Saturday's contest will mark Indiana's first trip to The Big House in the Cignetti era.

Indiana Football Week 8 injury report

Indiana had a relatively clean injury report for Week 7 against Ohio State. The only players listed on IU's Week 7 injury report were RB Khobie Martin and TE Andrew Barker. Martin is nearing a return, and getting him back for the Michigan game would be a huge boost for an Indiana running game that has struggled mightily over the last two weeks. The first Big Ten availability report for Week 8 is slated to be released on Wednesday night.

Indiana vs Michigan score prediction

Michigan QB Bryce Underwood has not been good, and was finally benched at halftime against Penn State this past weekend. Backup Tommy Carr performed well, and led the Wolverines to a 21-18 win after taking over down 3-0. Kyle Whittingham has officially named Carr as his starting QB for Saturday's contest, which seems to give the Wolverines an offensive boost. Michigan also has one of the top defenses in the country, so the Hoosiers could have their hands full on the road.

Points should be at a premium in this one. The Indiana running game has to get going, and Josh Hoover has to continue protecting the football. Cignetti gives the Hoosiers a substantial coaching edge, which could be the difference. Indiana wins a physical, defensive fight 20-17.
