Elite defensive end Jamarion "Juice" Matthews of Harvest, Alabama has been offered by the Indiana Hoosiers football program via Matthews' social media account.

Matthews, a 6-foot 3, 240 pound edge rusher who plays his high school football at Sparkman H.S also has major offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, Nebraska, Louisville, Ole Miss, USC and Penn State among others.

The Alabama native finished the season with 57 tackles, 29.0 tackles for loss, 17.0 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.

ESPN and Rivals 2026 recruiting prospect rankings have Matthews rated as the No. 214 player in the country, while 247Sports Composite is higher on the prospect with Matthews being ranked No. 199 overall, 13th in the state of Alabama and the 17th ranked edge rusher in the class.

On3 ranks Matthews No. 111 overall, No. 12 among all edge rushers and No. 6 in the state of Alabama.

Indiana is looking to beef up their defense and grow as they continue to go deeper in the CFB playoffs. The Hoosiers clearly need more help on that side of the football to be considered in the up echelon of the Power 4 and Big Ten. Matthews could be a massive help when it comes to getting after the opposing quarterbacks down the line for Bryant Haines defense.
