2026 recruit and Indiana Hoosiers target Trevor Gibbs is set to take an official visit to Indiana in Bloomington the weekend of June 6th.
Trevor Gibbs is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound athlete from Crown Point High School in Indiana. He is rated as a three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 44 linebacker in the class of 2026. He is also the No. 5 player coming out of Indiana according to the 247Sports Composite
Gibbs also has offers from Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, Boston College, Cincinnati, Ball State, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Toledo, and Western Michigan.
Gibbs talked about the key factors he's looking for in a school: "Iām looking to get developed on and off the field," he said. "Factors for me would be a good environment and culture." Gibbs stated to 247Sports
The Indiana native is exceptional on both sides of the ball as a junior this past fall, he started at linebacker and tight end. On defense he tallied 60 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble. Gibbs is projected as a defensive end and as a edge rusher at the next level but on offense he also caught 35 passes for 600 yards.
Curt Cignetti and Indiana will need to build a wall around the state of Indiana to truly make sure they are dominate year in and year out. Battling with MAC schools, Purdue and the rest of the Big Ten Conference for Hoosier state prospects will be very important in their future success.
