The No. 1 Hoosiers just can't stop winning. Fresh off dominating Alabama on Saturday in the Rose Bowl, Indiana is staying red hot, this time posting some big-time wins out on the recruiting trail. More specifically, the transfer portal has been great for the top team in the country.
Curt Cignetti continues college football dominance by landing elite WR transfer
On Sunday, fans were over the moon when it was revealed that superstar wide receiver Nick Marsh, a Michigan State transfer, had committed to the Hoosiers. So, who's going to throw him the ball next year with Fernando Mendoza off to the NFL? That'd be Josh Hoover.
Also on Sunday, news broke that the TCU standout has informed Curt Cignetti and his staff that he's going to be Big Ten-bound for the 2026 campaign. Straight up, this is a monster get for the Hoosiers, who already looked poised to compete for a return trip to the CFP next campaign:

Indiana has landed stud QB transfer Josh Hoover to replace Fernando Mendoza
The envy across the college football world must be at an all-time high. Indiana is in the national semifinals and this group is focused on winning the national title. While there are plenty of exits on the way, of course including Mendoza, Cignetti is making quite the splash in the portal.
Hoover had several teams chasing his commitment, but it's Indiana which has been able to get the job done here. This past season for TCU, Hoover tossed for an impressive 3,472 yards and 29 touchdowns. He can throw the ball all over the field, which he'll be ready to do in Bloomington next campaign.
For the Hoosiers, the No. 1 focus right now is to win it all and close out the campaign with a bang. However, Cignetti already has huge plans for '26 and the pieces are starting to come together. Bringing in Hoover and Marsh for next fall is nothing short of fantastic for Indiana.
