Indiana football and second year head coach Curt Cignetti has made some great additions to his team this off-season. The Hoosiers have landed another one with former Maryland outside linebacker Kellan Wyatt the South Bend Tribute and many multiple reports.

Wyatt hit the transfer portal earlier this year and has finally found a home in Bloomington. In three seasons at Maryland, Wyatt had 80 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, and 8.5 career sacks for the Terrapins. Wyatt played 428 snaps last season and lined up as an edge rusher on the defensive line 368 of those total snaps.
In 2024, Wyatt played against Indiana and had 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack early inthe season in September. He played in a total of 11 games, starting in 10, he had 30 tackles (19 solo), 7.5 tackles for a loss, with three sacks and two forced fumbles. He led the team in tackles for a loss and was second in sacks.
According to Pro Football Focus, Wyatt was the seventh-highest rated Maryland defender overall in 2024.
The 6-foot-2, 262-pound rising senior was a three-star recruit overall and the No. 12-ranked prospect in state Maryland, according to 247Sports. Kellan Wyatt was also the No. 72 linebacker in the 2022 class when he attended Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland.
