Columbus, Ohio native and four-star recruit Henry Ohlinger out of Grandview Heights High School has committed to Indiana as first reported by On3 Sports Recruiting Analyst Hayes Fawcett.

Henry Ohlinger starts on both sides of the ball at running back and linebacker and is a four-star recruit according to 247Sports.com’s composite. Ohlinger is rated the No. 336 best overall player in the nation, the 25th best running back, and the No. 16 rated player in Ohio in the 2026 class. He is also listed as an (ATH) athlete who could play on either side of the ball for Indiana in the future but will likely play defense.

The Hoosiers made a great impression during the 2024 season when Henry Ohlinger took his first visit to Bloomington with ESPN’s College GameDay on campus.

“Indiana has been great to me for a while now, and Coach Haines and Coach Cignetti have been great and are great,” Ohlinger told On3 . “I think that Indiana is the best place for me to develop as a player and a person under Coach Haines.”

Ohlinger is Indiana’s second commit in the 2026 class, the first was interior offensive lineman Sam Simpson from Wisconsin.
