Indiana 2027 recruiting target Chase Branham was named MVP standout at the Steph Curry Under Armour Camp in California over the weekend.
The camp is an invite-only event for top guards from around the country.
Golden State Warriors and living NBA legend Stephen Curry, is a 4-time NBA champion and was named NBA Finals MVP in 2022. He is a 2-time NBA MVP, including the only unanimous selection in NBA history in 2016. Curry has been selected as an NBA All-Star 11 times and was a 2-time NBA All-Star Game MVP.
Chase Branham is a 6-foot-4, 175-pound guard from Logan-Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Missouri. He's currently the 39th-highest rated recruit in the class of 2027, he is the No. 12 point guard and the third-highest rated in the state of Missouri, according to 247Sports.
Branham was also named the Player of the Year for his district and received All-State honors. He also plays for KC Run GMC AAU program.

Branham averaged 19.2 points, 5.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds as a sophomore last season and shot 62 percent from the field according to the Springfield News-Leader
Branham also has a visit scheduled with Purdue, Creighton and Iowa in addition to his visit with Indiana. His unofficial visit with Indiana is scheduled for the weekend of September 20th.
Branham’s trainer, Jordan Walton, praised his game in an interview with the Springfield News-Leader earlier this year.
“We compare him to a basketball robot or like an alien,” Walton said. “His processing speed and ability to understand things immediately… you have to explain things three-to-nine times with most kids. Chase finishes your sentences. It’s really weird. Working out with him is a different experience than any experience with anyone else.”
"Nothing short of hard work, self belief, and dedication got him here. So happy for this kid. "
Branham is an extremely talented 2027 guard prospect and would be a great addition to the Indiana Hoosiers basketball program if Darian DeVries can secure his commitment.
