The magic of Curt Cignetti continues to bring the national spotlight to the Indiana football program.

Cignetti has led the Hoosiers to new heights on the gridiron, and that has translated to plenty of national attention -- both in reality and in the video game world.

EA Sports is set to release the new College Football 27 video game later this summer on Thursday, July 9. With anticipation for the game's release continuing to build, EA Sports revealed the covers for the game earlier this week.

Cignetti and the Hoosiers are heavily featured on the cover of the game's Deluxe Edition. With Memorial Stadium in Bloomington serving as the backdrop, Cignetti appears front and center while high-profile players Dante Moore, Malachi Toney, Jayden Maiava, Kewan Lacy, Colin Simmons, and Leonard Moore flank him on both sides.

But Indiana's video game publicity doesn't end there.

Curt Cignetti and Indiana take center stage in College Football 27 trailer

On Thursday, EA Sports released the official trailer for College Football 27. It is a must-watch for all Hoosier fans, even if you don't plan on buying or playing the game.

The trailer begins with ESPN's Chris Fowler proclaiming that the Indiana Hoosiers are the kings of college football. It's an electric start, and the electricity continues with Cignetti prominently featured as the narrator for the trailer. Multiple live shots of Cignetti at Memorial Stadium are also featured, giving even more of the national spotlight to Bloomington.

Curt Cignetti keeps stacking recruiting wins with new commitment from 3-star RB

“Some players who walk through that tunnel, onto that field, grew up dreaming about putting on this uniform," says Cignetti in the trailer. "They’ve rooted for this team their whole life and want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Some have another dream: the money, the deals, the cars, those shiny teeth. That’s college football now—I get it. Everybody’s gotta make a name for themselves. Truth is, I don’t care why you show up. I care what happens after you do.”

He ends his narration with an iconic line that will have Hoosier fans everywhere fired up: "I only care if it turns into one thing on Saturday….winning."

National spotlight continues to shine on Indiana football

In just two seasons leading the Hoosiers, Cignetti has turned Indiana from a college football afterthought to a national powerhouse. IU is 27-2 with Cignetti at the helm and is coming off the greatest season in program history that resulted in a perfect 16-0 record and the school's first-ever football National Championship.

With the way Cignetti has things rolling in Bloomington, the national spotlight won't be going away any time soon. Cignetti has the Hoosiers poised to compete for another national title in 2026, and there's a very strong possibility that Indiana starts the new season ranked as the No. 1 team in the country in the Preseason AP Top-25 Poll.

Cignetti and company open the new season on Saturday, September 5 against North Texas. Kick-off is slated for Noon ET.
