Coming off a perfect 16-0 season and National Championship, the Indiana Hoosiers are poised to compete for another title in 2026-27. With a solid mix of transfers and newcomers, the Hoosiers have plenty of talent to go around. Here are five Hoosiers who are poised to become fantasy football superstars that could help you win your league.
QB Josh Hoover
Incoming transfer QB Josh Hoover has a tough task following in the footsteps of Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, but he has what it takes to thrive in Bloomington. Hoover boasts plenty of experience, so he won't be phased by the big stage. He's made 31 starts in his career, and his 9,269 yards and 79 total touchdowns give him the most production of any returning college football quarterback. He is extremely familiar with Indiana's RPO-heavy system, and with a much better defense and more reliable running game than he had at TCU, he should cut down on his turnovers. That combination is a great recipe for success.
WR Charlie Becker
Charlie Becker emerged into a star during the second half of last season. He had a quiet start to the season, but became arguably the best receiver in football down the stretch. The Nashville native collected 27 catches for 522 yards and 3 touchdowns over Indiana's last 7 games, and made several highlight-reel catches during Indiana's CFP run to a national title. Heading into the new season, ESPN ranked him as the No. 4 receiver in the entire country. Becker should be expected to take on a leading role from the jump, and has big-play ability every given Saturday. That makes him an easy fantasy football target during your draft.
WR Nick Marsh
Former Michigan State wideout Nick Marsh brings an exciting dynamic to the Hoosier passing attack. He spent last season in a poor Spartan passing attack, yet he still posted solid numbers that included 59 catches for 662 yards and 6 touchdowns. Now in a much better situation in Bloomington, he has the potential to put up monster numbers with the Cream and Crimson. Marsh has an elite ability to rack up yards after the catch, which is a dream scenario for fantasy football.
RB Turbo Richard
Last season, Roman Hemby and Kaelon Black made up one of the most lethal RB combinations in the country. Both put together 1,000-yard seasons, and they combined for 17 touchdowns. It's clear that offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan has an effective approach for utilizing multiple RBs in his offensive scheme, and the same approach can be expected with Turbo Richard and Khobie Martin this season.
Transferring in from Boston College, Richard has all the makings of a star. He took on a leading role with the Eagles last season, totaling 749 yards and 9 touchdowns on his 145 carries, which was good for an average of 5.2 yards per carry. He was also effective in the passing game, bringing in 30 catches for 213 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Given his reliable rushing skills and receiving prowess, Richard's dynamic skill set gives him plenty of fantasy football potential.
RB Khobie Martin
Hemby and Black got all the attention last season, but Khobie Martin put together an impressive redshirt freshman season. The Fishers, IN native ran the ball 78 times and racked up 505 yards and 6 touchdowns. His 6.5 yards per carry led all Hoosier running backs. Heading into his redshirt sophomore season, Martin is poised for a bigger role and is officially on breakout watch. During your drafts, he could be a sneaky late-round pick that has the potential to pay great dividends.
