During the month of June, recruiting is the name of the game in college football. Official visit season is now in full swing as the top players across the country continue looking for their future teams.

In Bloomington, Curt Cignetti has given the Indiana Hoosiers plenty of recruiting momentum in recent weeks. Indiana's 2027 recruiting class now includes 11 players and continues to move up in the national recruiting rankings.

Looking to keep things rolling, Cignetti could be on the verge of another commitment after the latest development from one of IU's top targets.

3-star Indiana target Chris Bradley opens the door for Indiana

Chris Bradley, a 3-star cornerback from Ohio, is a prospect Cignetti and his staff appear to be honing in on. Indiana extended an offer to Bradley earlier this spring, and it now seems that the highly-touted prospect is turning his attention to the Hoosiers.

The primary players in Bradley's recruitment are the Hoosiers and Miami (OH) RedHawks. Bradley had visits lined up to both schools in June. He planned to be in Oxford this weekend from June 5-7 and in Bloomington next week from June 12-14. But those plans have changed.

On Friday afternoon, Bradley took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that he has cancelled his visit to Miami (OH) this weekend. Thus, Indiana now seems to be in the driver's seat to land the 3-star CB.

With Miami (OH) being dealt a tough blow, Indiana now seems to have a clear path to securing a commitment from Bradley. As it stands, Rivals Industry gives Indiana a strong 85.9% chance to land the 3-star defensive back. Conversely, the RedHawks now have just a 4.7% chance.

Owning a 5'11" 160-pound frame, Bradley is an ideal recruiting target for Cignetti. The Hoosier head coach has an elite eye for talent and finding under-the-radar recruits that can turn into significant contributors. Bradley fits that bill perfectly.

Bradley plays for North College Hill High School in West Chester, OH, and is ranked as the No. 43 player in the state of Ohio and the No. 101 cornerback in the 2027 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. This past season as a junior, he racked up 28 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 14 pass break ups and 6 interceptions.

If Cignetti is able to seal the deal with Bradley, it would continue Indiana's impressive recruiting hot streak. The Hoosiers have secured eight commitments over the past month, and IU's 2027 class now features a trio of blue chip recruits.

With other Big Ten teams such as Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and USC all being busy on the recruiting trail as well, it's imperative that Cignetti keeps IU's 2027 class trending in the right direction. Hoosier fans have plenty of confidence in his ability to find the right players to help Indiana remain a national contender moving forward.
