Indiana football continues to dominate the recruiting trail and get after it landing another elite 2026 class recruit in four-star edge rusher Kevontay Hugan.
Hugan who attends Booker H.S in Sarasota, Florida had been committed to Louisville since March 22 but de-committed after his visit to Bloomington this past weekend.
Per the 247Sports Composite, The 6-foot-2, 235-pound edge rusher comes in ranked as the No. 46 defensive lineman in the class, the No. 59 overall prospect from the Sunshine State, and the No. 431st-ranked overall recruit in the nation.
As a junior at Booker High School, Hugan recorded 118 tackles, 36 tackles for a loss and18 sacks. One of the best stat lines you'll see from any recruit in the country.
The multi-sport athlete, also competes in track & field. He’s was a state qualifier in the shot put, as well as regionals in both the discus and 100-meter dash.
Hugan also held offers from Baylor, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Liberty, Marshall, Maryland, Mercer, Florida A&M, Syracuse, Miami, Missouri, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Penn State, USC and others.
