He described the recruiting process as "hectic" as interest has increased with offers from Big Ten schools such as Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Oregon.
"It's been a lot of work getting ready for next year," Tabron said. "My coach says it's not 2024 anymore, it's 2025. Our goal for 2025 is to win the state championship and the year after next."
Tabron II, a MaxPreps Freshman All American, currently has more than 20 scholarship offers, including Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Miami, Purdue, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, Auburn and Kentucky.
Cass Tech has produced a ton of prominent football players including Jourdan Lewis, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michael Onwenu, Kalen King, Del'Shawn Phillips and former first rounder Vernon Gholston.
Tabron II has a strong arm that will only get stronger as he adds more strength as he is only 16 years of age. With a solid frame, he looks capable of adding weight without damaging his throwing motion or running ability. He also has uncommon poise and composure for such a young player.
