Moment #4: October 7, 2022 – Coach Mike Woodson shows up in style and drops the mic at Hoosier Hysteria

Coach Mike Woodson, heading into year two as the head man in charge of turning this Indiana basketball program back into the perennial powerhouse it once was, rode into Assembly Hall on the night of Hoosier Hysteria in a decked-out convertible highlighting the 1976 Hoosier team that went undefeated and won the 1976 NCAA Championship.

Arguably the best college basketball team ever, Coach Woodson was making a statement that this year’s Indiana basketball team had high expectations and they are looking to live up to those to hopefully win the Big Ten and more.

Grinning from ear to ear, Coach Woodson received a very warm welcome from the fans in Assembly Hall and gave the media the quote of the year when talking about what he thought of Indiana basketball:

"“Indiana basketball, excuse my language, is the sh*t.”"

Drop. The. Mic.
