Indiana football vs. #4 Michigan: Kickoff & prediction against Wolverines
With two consecutive losses to unranked opponents, Indiana football heads into Week 6 against one of the best teams in the country in No. 4 Michigan. The Hoosiers have lost 25 of the last 26 games against the Wolverines and have not beaten Michigan when ranked in the top 10 ever in school history.

Indiana football vs. #4 Michigan prediction
The Hoosiers are hoping to take down the Wolverines for the second time since 1988, which I personally believe won’t happen on Saturday. Tom Allen’s defense has been very inconsistent from the secondary to the defensive line. Despite the ability to hang with teams like Michigan in recent seasons, this weekend’s matchup won’t be close enough to be entertaining.
Indiana football has to slow down Blake Corum in order to have any sort of shot against the Wolverines. And that’s just focusing on the defensive side of the ball. The offense is a whole other issue that will be exposed on Saturday. Scoring zero points in a whole half against Nebraska and now heading into a Week 6 matchup against one of the best defenses in the country is a scary thought for Hoosier fans.
My final game-by-game prediction before the season for this Week 6 matchup against the Wolverines was a loss for the Hoosiers, 30-13. The defense will be pressured. The offense will need to step up. Hoping for more scoring than what we saw in Lincoln to give Indiana football any sort of shot on homecoming weekend.
