Week 6:

Going against the giant that is Michigan football after a strong start to the 2022 season does not bode well for Indiana football in Week 6. Michigan is ranked #8 in the preseason polls and should be competing for a spot in the College Football Playoff by the end of the season. Though the Wolverines are coming into Bloomington, don’t expect an upset in the making from the Hoosiers. Blake Corum and Ronnie Bell will be all over the field against the Indiana defense and it’ll be tough to hang with Michigan at the halfway point of the season.

INDIANA 13 – MICHIGAN 30 (4-2, 2-1)

Week 7:

As Maryland heads to Bloomington for this Week 7 matchup, Indiana football prepares to handle Taulia Tagovailoa and the high-powered Terrapins offense. Tagovailoa is one force to deal with, and it looks like he and Dontay Demus Jr. are heading in the direction of headlining first or second team All-Big Ten honors for 2022. The Terrapins defense should not be the problem for the Hoosiers; it’s the ability to wrangle the offense that will be difficult for Indiana.

INDIANA 28 – MARYLAND 31 (4-3, 2-2)
