Former Indiana Hoosiers head coach Lee Corso and former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee are returning home with the rest of ESPN's "College GameDay" crew in Bloomington, Indiana this Saturday when the Washington Huskies take on the Indiana Hoosiers.
On Friday morning, ESPN shared a promo for its upcoming episode of "College GameDay." It was a photo of the crew along with this caption: "It's a home game for Pat McAfee and Coach Corso."
Corso coached the Hoosiers from 1973-1982. His best season came in 1979, as he led the program to an 8-4 record, which included a victory in the Holiday Bowl. Overall, he had a 41-68-2 record at Indiana.
Over 70 members of the 1979 Indiana Hoosiers football team are to be in town for the 45-year reunion of the Holiday Bowl, the program’s first bowl victory.
As far as McAfee, was drafted in the seventh round back in the 2009 NFL Draft out of West Virginia by the Colts. He made two NFL Pro Bowls and was named an All-Pro in 2014, he played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-2016.
ESPN's computer model gives the Hoosiers an 83.8 percent chance of defeating the Huskies this weekend. Oddsmakers are also favoring Indiana for Week 9.
