Selection Sunday for 2025 March Madness is set for Sunday, March 16. That’s when the 68-team field for the men’s NCAA DI basketball tournament will be announced and as we get closer to that date every game matters more and more.
The Indiana Hoosiers have been up and down this season but with 14-5 overall record and a 5-3 record in the Big Ten they are right on the bubble. ESPN's Joe Lundari has them ranked were most thought they would be as the No. 11 seed and as one of the last 4 teams in along with UCF, Pittsburgh and Nebraska.
Indiana is currently No. 61 in the NET rankings and the Hoosiers are currently 2-5 in Quad 1, 1-0 in Quad 2, 7-0 in Quad 3, and 4-0 in Quad 4.
Indiana junior power forward Malik Reneau and freshman small forward Bryson Tucker will both likely not play again as they've been dealing with injuries for the past week.
Here watch head coach Mike Woodson had to say about the injuries:
Well, a lot's going to depend on Malik today. He worked some yesterday," Woodson said Tuesday morning. "Tucker worked a little yesterday. So I'll gauge it today. We got a 12 o'clock practice before we take off, so I'll get a better feel of where Malik and Bryson is at this point."
The Hoosiers take on Northwestern on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET in their next game on the B1G Network.
