MACLEAN'S 247SPORTS SCOUTING REPORT
"MacLean is a late-blooming perimeter forward who appears to be on the verge of a major ascension. Best described as a stretch-four from a positional standpoint, he has a terrific combination of size at 6-foot-9 and skill. He shoots it very well from the perimeter, with soft touch and good loft on his ball. - — 247Sports director of scouting Adam Finklestein who is also a college sasketball insider on CBS Sports HQ
""While his ability to shoot from long range is his best asset at the moment, MacLean also has a good overall feel for the game. He understands how to play without the ball in his hands, stays in pretty constant motion, and is a solid passer within the flow of the offense. "Adam Finklestein
Indiana currently has two players signed to the 2025 class in Trent Sisley from Montverde Academy Florida and and a commit from Harun Zrno a 20 year old Bosnian shooting guard.
Neither Maclean or Odih has any offers from Indiana but most recruiting analyst would like to think that new Hoosiers coach Darian DeVries would have his top recruits follow him over to Bloomington.
Both Trent MacLean (6’9 PF) and Kelvin Odih (6’4 SF) have requested a release from their national letter of intent from West Virginia. Both played on SoCal Academy this season and committed less than a month apart. IU is in great position to land these guys. #iubb pic.twitter.com/0zEl4OwepO
