The Indiana Hoosiers have been cruising this season, being 7-0 for the second year in a row. Last season, the Hoosiers were able to get to 10-0 before falling to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Looking at the rest of their 2025 season schedule, Indiana could complete the perfect regular season,

The Hoosiers, however, can't think about the rest of the season right now because they need to simply focus on the next game, which is against UCLA. Indiana is set to take on a team that fired its head coach after losing the first three games of the season, but has since turned it around a bit and won three out of its next four games, one of them against a then-ranked Penn State game.

This is easily one of those "trap games" where a team can be overlooked, but the Bruins have been able to surprise some people this season, and quarterback Nico Iamaleava has started to turn things around. The Hoosiers need to get past this game to feel a lot better about themselves and the rest of their season.

UCLA vs. No. 2 Indiana final prediction

It really doesn't come as a huge surprise that Indiana is such a big favorite over UCLA, but again, the Bruins should not be a team to be looked over. They are on a three-game win streak, and Indiana is on a seven-game win streak, and one of those streaks is going to end today.

The streak that hopefully won't end today is Indiana's, of course. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza has been on a tear, and this UCLA defense has looked a lot better since firing DeShaun Foster, so the Hoosiers' offense, which Cignetti worked with a lot this week, will be on its game and send the Bruins home with a fresh loss.
