The Michigan State Spartans beat out Big Ten foes Iowa and Indiana for three-star edge rusher Cory House earlier today as announced by House on social media.

The 6-foot-6, 240 pound defensive lineman, is ranked as the No. 22 prospect in state of Tennessee in the 2026 class according to 247Sports Composite the No. 834 player overall on the class and the No. 77 edge nationally.
The Tennessee native also held offers from Iowa, Indiana, Alcorn State, Arkansas, East Carolina, Austin Peay, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississppi State, Southern Miss, Tulane, Sacramento State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Maryland, Illinois, Jackson State, Kennesaw State, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Dartmouth, UTSA, UT-Martin, UNLV, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
House recording 50 tackles including 15 tackles for loss and five sacks. He also forced two fumbles and deflected three passes in 2024 as a junior.
Led by second year head coach Jonathan Smith, the Spartans finished 2024 with a 5-7 record overall and 3-6 record in Big Ten play.
Indiana received a verbal commitment Tuesday from Ohio linebacker Ja’Dyn Williams and have 13 total commits in the 2026 class.
