Brownsburg, Indiana native and three-star standout Branden Sharpe has officially been offered by the Indiana Hoosiers football program according to his own social media post on X

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound wide receiver from Brownsburgh H.S has a number of offers but Indiana is his home state and his first power four offer. Here is what Sharpe told 247Sports.com about his IU offer.

"To get my first power four offer from Indiana means the world," Sharpe said. "Everywhere you go in Indiana you see the crimson and white and you’ve dreamed of playing there as a kid. I also know there is a ton of support from the city as most of them are Hoosier fans. It’s an indescribable feeling."

Sharpe also has offers from Iowa, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Troy and Notre Dame.

As a sophomore at Brownsburg H.S per Max Preps Sharpe caught 66 receptions for 1,175 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024. On special teams he averaged 36 yards per kick return and he returned one kickoff for a touchdown.

One of his role models along the way include former Lawrence Central and University of Indianapolis wide receiver Daveon Bell, who also happens to be his uncle.

"He is my biggest influence in sports," Sharpe said. "I always used to watch him play basketball and football in high school and college at a high level and that inspired me to do the same."
