The Indiana football program is gaining momentum on the recruiting trail, with just five commits last week alone but IU missed out on one homegrown offensive lineman in Cameron Miller.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive lineman attends Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana. The 247Sports Composite has him rated as the 113th-best offensive tackle in the class of 2026. He’s also ranked 23rd overall prospect in the state of Indiana.
Miller on why he selected Kentucky over Indiana, Texas Tech and West Virginia:
“They’ve sent almost 60 people to the NFL. That plays a big role in your development. They produce pros,”Miller told KSR+ last month about Kentucky. “The whole staff was nice. I spoke with some of the players and got to watch their practice. I got to see the O-Line. They’re quick and fast. I liked being there, and I could see myself going there. I spent a little time with the staff. It was good and I loved it.”
Miller also held offers from: Toledo, Florida Atlantic, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Purdue, Ball State, Minnesota, Bowling Green, Marshall, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, USF, UMass and Kent State.
Kentucky Wildcats beat writer Vance Meek of UK Wildcats Wire had this to say about Miller's future at Kentucky:
"A bully on the field, Miller plays a physical game, relishing the chance to put a defender on the turf. He also has no problem getting out to the second level to take on a linebacker or safety. There will be an adjustment as he takes on the speedy pass rushers of the SEC, but he'll have time to get ready for that."
