The Indiana Hoosiers have been well-represented in the 2026 NFL Draft thus far. Still with two rounds to go, Indiana has had six players selected, which is one short of tying the all-time program record for most players selected in a single NFL Draft.

Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza has been garnering plenty of headlines as the No. 1 overall selection by the Las Vegas Raiders (as he should), but WR Elijah Sarratt is a name that NFL fans need to get accustomed to hearing.

Sarratt was just selected in the 4th Round with the 115th overall pick by the Baltimore Ravens, and he is a certified Day 3 steal.

Elijah Sarratt is a mid-round steal for the Baltimore Ravens

Adding Elijah Sarratt to the mix in Baltimore could prove to be very beneficial for Lamar Jackson and company. He is a big-bodied wideout owning a solid 6'2" 210-pound frame, and he excels at bringing down contested catches.

Sarratt is extremely reliable, as he hauled in 65 catches for 830 yards with an NCAA-leading 15 touchdowns this past season. He ends his collegiate career with a contested catch rate of 60%, and that skill set could make for a great fit with the Ravens.

Chiefs make aggressive first round trade for potential Fernando Mendoza stopper

Sarratt played a vital role in Indiana's National Championship-winning season, and he was at his best when it mattered most. His most notable performance of the season came in the Peach Bowl against Oregon when he collected 7 catches for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His size and physicality figures to lead to him playing a major role in Baltimore's passing attack from the jump.

As Connor Burke of Ebony Bird points out, the Ravens desperately needed as much help as they could get at the wide receiver position. Zay Flowers was the only consistently productive receiving weapon in Baltimore last season. After taking Ja’Kobi Lane in the 3rd Round, the Ravens went after another receiver and grabbed Sarratt in the 4th Round. In terms of measureables, athleticism, and talent, the WR room of Flowers, Lane, and Sarratt figures to be a successful group in 2026 and beyond.

Landing in Baltimore is also a homecoming moment for Sarratt, who Sarratt attended Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore as a high schooler. No matter how you slice it, this is a great pick for the Ravens.
