Ranking the Remaining Games on Indiana’s Schedule
The Hoosiers are off to their first 6-0 start since 1967. First -year head coach Curt Cignetti has infused the program with an optimism and energy that is arguably unparalleled in the history of Indiana football.
The Hoosiers are averaging more than 47 points per game, and they’ve won every game by double digits, they are also one of the only teams with a top 25 offense and defense in the nation.
Below we rank Indiana's Remaining Games (Nebraska not included) Easiest to Hardest for the rest of the 2024 season.
1. Purdue Boilermakers (Bloomington) at home
Simple it's a rivalry game and since Graham Harrell has been fired the Boilmaker offense has been playing a little better. Hudson Card was in concussion protocol and swapped for Ryan Browne who almost led them to an upset of the Illini. Ryan Walters and Purdue will try to spoil the Hoosiers cinderella season on senior day November 30th.
2. Washington Huskies (Bloomington) at home
Next weekend Indiana takes on the Washington Huskies at home. (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) the Huskies are coming off a 27-17 win over then-No. 10 Michigan. Led by first year coach Jedd Fisch, Washington is entering a tough patch of their season was they play Iowa, Indiana and USC in the next four weeks.
3. Michigan State Spartans (East Lansing) road game
After losing three games in a row, the Michigan State Spartans are 3-3 led by first year coach Jonathan Smith. They are in rebuild mode with freshman quarterback Aidan Chiles but have a ton of talent to compete versus the Hoosiers on November 2nd at home in East Lansing.
4. Michigan Wolverines (Bloomington) at home
Indiana takes on No. 24 Michigan on November 9th in possibly the biggest home game of the year when the time comes. Former Hoosier quarterback turned Wolverine Jack Tuttle took over Orji against Washington on Oct. 5, going 10 of 18 for 98 yards alongside a touchdown and an interception.
It remains to be seen who the starter will be when Michigan enters Memorial Stadium in just under a month.
5. Ohio State Buckeyes (Columbus) road game
The Buckeyes just lost to the Oregon Ducks by one point in an instant classic played in Eugene. No. 4 Ohio State heads into their bye week regrouping with Nebraska, Penn State, Indiana, and Michigan looming. And all four are at the top of the conference. This Indiana's only only top five opponent on their regular season schedule.
