After taking the college football world by storm en route to winning the National Championship, every home game for the Indiana Hoosiers at Memorial Stadium is sure to create a raucous atmosphere this fall. Of Indiana's 12 regular season matchups, eight will come at home.

Indiana boasts the largest living alumni base in the United States, and the Hoosier faithful are sure to show up in big numbers to IU's road games as well. Indiana's four road trips will span from coast to coast, as the massive nationwide layout of the Big Ten conference now stretches all the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

The Hoosiers have four road games on the docket, but how do they stack up in terms of top destinations for Indiana fans? If you are looking to ssee the Hoosiers play away from Bloomington this season, here are how IU's four road destinations stack up.

1. at Washington (November 21)

Husky Stadium in Seattle is among the most unique venues in all of college football. It is one of just three stadiums that is accessible by water, as it is located right next to Union Bay in Seattle. The venue offers breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery, making it a bucket list destination for all college football fans.

Along with being a top destination, the matchup on the field between the Hoosiers and Huskies is sure to deliver plenty of fireworks. Washington is an ascending program under head coach Jedd Fisch, and QB Demond Williams is among the most dynamic playmakers in the country. Indiana's trip to Seattle on November 21 is the best road trip of the regular season for IU fans.

2. at Michigan (October 24)

A more manageable road trip for Hoosier fans comes when Indiana heads north to Michigan on October 24. Ann Arbor is about a four and a half hour drive from Bloomington, and like Husky Stadium, The Big House is a bucket list stadium for college football fans across the country. Michigan Stadium's massive capacity of 107,601 makes it the largest in the nation, and it is sure to be paced to the gills when the defending National Champs come to town.

IU's matchup against Michigan this season will mark Indiana's first trip to Ann Arbor under Cignetti. He will go head-to-head against new Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham for the first time. Whittingham built a consistent winner over his two decades at Washington, and now he is looking to provide some much-needed stability to the Wolverine program.

3. at Nebraska (October 10)

While the Nebraska program has not been very successful over the last two decades, Memorial Stadium in Lincoln is still a desireable venue to visits. The Cornhuskers have sold out Memorial Stadium in over 400 consecutive games, which is by far and away the longest sellout streak in all of college football.

Despite their beloved Cornhuskers not providing the success they desperately want to see, fans of Nebraska routinely provide a great atmosphere in Lincoln. If you are looking to see the Hoosiers play on the road, Lincoln is a solid destination.

4. at Rutgers (October 3)

Indiana's matchup against Rutgers on October 3 is likely to be the least desirable destination for Indiana football fans this season. SHI Stadium in Piscataway isn't nearly as historic or appealing as the other road venues IU will travel to this season, and Rutgers has been at the bottom of the Big Ten standings during Greg Schiano's second stint at the helm of the program.

Since returning to Rutgers in 2020, Schiano has won more than three Big Ten games just once (2024). This trip to Piscataway marks Indiana's first Big Ten road game of the season, and while Rutgers shouldn't be taken lightly, this is Indiana's most manageable road game on the regular season schedule.
