The Indiana Hoosiers lost a lot in the box score (and in the heart) when they lost Mackenzie Holmes and Sara Scalia to eligibility exhaustion following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season. Holmes played 28.4 MPG and averaged 19.8 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 1.4 APG, 0.9 SPG, and 1.6 BPG on shooting splits of 65.0% FG/16.7% 3/71.6% FT. Scalia played 32.9 MPG and averaged 16.3 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.4 APG, 0.9 SPG, and 0.1 BPG on shooting splits of 43.5% FG/42.7% 3/89.7% FT.

Needless to say, Teri Moren and this stacked squad have their work cut out for them in recouping for the absence of those digits. With super seniors Sydney Parrish and Chloe Moore-McNeil plus uber-talented junior Yarden Garzon expected to produce an uptick in their output plus a versatile crew of role players surrounding them, the 2024-2025 Indiana women's basketball team has the weapons to reciprocate the type of production that the 2023-2024 Hoosiers squad did.

Here is a way too soon look at what the team's per-game production could look like next season.

*This is based on a 10-deep rotation, and would not include inevitable contributions from Henna Sandvik, Sharnecce Currie-Jelks and Sydney Fenn. You already know that each of them will get some run, but this is just based on a 200-minute per game projection*

STARTERS

Chloe Moore-McNeil = 31 MPG | 12 PPG | 4 RPG | 5.5 APG | 0.5 BPG | 1.5 SPG | 47.5% FG/39% 3/78.5% FT

Shay Ciezki = 27 MPG | 12.5 PPG | 2 RPG | 2 APG | 0 BPG | 1 SPG | 44% FG/40.5% 3/86% FT

Sydney Parrish = 31 MPG | 14.5 PPG | 6.5 RPG | 3 APG | 0.5 BPG | 1 SPG | 47% FG/40% 3/80% FT

Yarden Garzon = 30 MPG | 13.5 PPG | 4.5 RPG | 2.5 APG | 0.5 BPG | 1 SPG | 46%FG/41% 3/75% FT

Karoline Striplin = 19 MPG | 8 PPG | 4.5 RPG | 1 APG | 1 BPG | 0.5 SPG | 50% FG/33% 3/75% FT

BENCH

Lexus Bargesser = 20 MPG | 5.5 PPG | 3 RPG | 3 APG | 0 BPG | 1 SPG | 50% FG/33% 3/70% FT

Julianna LaMendola = 10 MPG | 3 PPG | 2 RPG | 1 APG | 0 BPG | 0.5 SPG | 42.5% FG/30% 3/70% FT

Lenee Beaumont = 9 MPG | 2.5 PPG | 1.5 RPG | 1 APG | 0 BPG | 0.5 SPG | 50% FG/30% 3/72.5% FT

Lily Meister = 14 MPG | 5 PPG | 3.5 RPG | 0.5 APG | 1 BPG | 0 SPG | 65% FG/40% 3/72.5% FT

Faith Wiseman = 9 MPG | 3 PPG | 2.5 RPG | 0.5 APG | 1 BPG | 0 SPG | 67.5% FG/0% 3/62.5% FT

This should be an extremely balanced team, with the starting unit once again doing the heavy lifting in the scoring department with the bench mob once again doing the little things off the pine. But from top to bottom, any one of these ladies could very easily exceed these marks.

Any 1 of the Parrish-Garzon-Ciezki-Moore-McNeil quartet could feasibly lead the team in scoring. After dropping 21 in the Sweet Sixteen loss to South Carolina, we like Parrish to pick up where she left off and assume alpha status next season. With all due respect to CMM, Spicy P should be the one with the ball in her hands at the end of a close game.

When you look at this roster from 1-13, where do you see each player making the most contributions and who do you see leading the team in each statistical category?

Go Hoosiers!
