Former Indianapolis Colts punter and current ESPN College Gameday host Pat McAfee is a believer of the Indiana Hoosiers football program led by head coach Curt Cignetti.

During an episode of the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee said he was impressed with Indiana's undefeated start.

"(IU football coach Curt) Cignetti said 'Google me, I win,'" McAfee said. "And I tell you what, the son of a b---- was not lying." "Gotta be a College GameDay watch going on," McAfee said.

The Indiana Hoosiers have hosted College GameDay once in the shows history since 1993 but it hasn't been since 2017 when the Hoosiers lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes 49-21.

"What Cignetti is doing, he got GameDay to JMU, and it feels like he's going to get GameDay to Bloomington," McAfee said. "And I'm pumped up about that. These people are awesome around here. They've been focusing on basketball, they've been focusing on Little (500), they've been focusing on other things. Now with the football being an option in fall, Indiana will be majestic for some time to come."

The Hoosiers are ranked for the first time since 2021 when they were ranked No. 17 to start the season. No. 23 Indiana goes on the road to take on the Northwestern Wildcats on Oct. 5th. Kickoff is today at 3:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
